Due to recent political instability in Tibet, the borders have now been reopened, however we do not recommend visiting Tibet until September, after the Olympic games are over.

The political situation is still currently somewhat uncertain, and our friends in Tibet have advised us to suspend all our trips until 2009.

We take your safety and cultural enjoyment extremely seriously, and in light of current events do not recommend any tourists or travellers visit the Tibetan region this year.
